Make a right Turn from Yanonali St. and at the light make another right on to Garden. Continue on Garden Street to the Ocean. This is Cabrillo Boulevard. Make a right turn on Cabrillo and let the journey begin! You will pass by the Harbor, this is a beautiful place to stop for spectacular views of the ocean and mountains.

Continue west along Cabrillo Boulevard, which will become Shoreline Drive. If you stop at Shoreline Park, you will get a breathtaking view of the coastline. After two miles, Shoreline Drive curves to the right and comes to a stoplight at Cliff Drive. Turn left here and continue straight about two miles until you come to Arroyo Burro Beach. This beach is called Hendry’s Beach by locals and can be a good spot for surfing and viewing tide pools (or to dine at The Boat House Restaurant).

Continue along Cliff Drive for a peaceful drive through Hope Ranch. This is a luxurious residential community with elegant homes along tree-lined roads (it was named after Thomas Hope, an Irishman who was granted the land in 1870).

Cliff Drive will turn into Marina Drive, which turns into Roble Drive for a short time, and then turns into Las  Palmas Drive (1.6 miles). Drive on Las Palmas past the golf course to a stop sign, which is at 1.8 miles, just past the overhead  and wrought iron gates that read “Hope Ranch”.

After visiting the Mission (the Rose Garden across the street is also worth visiting), go back the same way towards Foothill Road and take the first right past the Mission, which is Alameda Padre Sierra (APS). This area is called the Riviera. From APS, you can get a beautiful view of Santa Barbara, the ocean and the Channel Islands. Go along the ridge until the road starts to head downward and you come to a round about (2.4 miles).

At the round about with a sign pointing to Salinas Street stay on to Salinas St. until you see Old Cost Hwy on your left. Make a left turn onto Old Coast Hwy. You will now pass the Montecito County Club. Once you pass the Country Club you will see another round about. Go through the round about and follow the sings to Coast Village Road (the Shopping Center will be on your Left 2nd exit). You will now go through the town of Montecito.  Make sure you say hello to Oprah as she waves at you to welcome you to her town.

Proceed through Montecito until you reach the end of the town.  Make a right turn at the stop sign on to Olive Mill Rd. Continue to the beach and go around the Biltmore Hotel to the right. You are now on Channel Dr. This area is called Butterfly Beach. Stay on Channel drive. you will see a Yellow Arrow pointing to the Right. Go up this hill, follow Channel Drive to Cabrillo Blvd, turn left on to Cabrillo Blvd. Stay on Cabrillo until you get to the Visitor Center, make a Right turn on to Garden and then a left turn on Yanonali St. until you see SB Buggie!
